During the last week of August, we participated in gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, as part of our internationalization strategy. There, we presented Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree to professionals from the global games industry and expanded our network with publishers, platforms, agencies, and studios from different countries. Our participation was made possible after being selected by Proim\u00e1genes Colombia through its support program for companies attending this international industry market.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gamescom 2026 brought together 368,000 visitors from 131 countries, more than 36,000 industry professionals, and 1,743 exhibiting companies from 66 countries. In this setting, we carried out an agenda focused on presenting our projects, strengthening business relationships, analyzing industry trends, and expanding JU Studios\u2019 presence in the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For us, being there meant connecting directly with this global ecosystem and continuing a path that the studio has been building through different internationalization opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree in the International Games Industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of our main objectives was to present Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree, our narrative exploration video game for PC, to publishers and industry professionals specializing in video game production, distribution, and positioning. During the meetings, we presented its narrative and gameplay concept, visual identity, current development status, and overall vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These meetings allowed us to receive specialized insights, compare the game\u2019s proposal with current market dynamics, and expand our international network of contacts. We also discussed key aspects of its commercial positioning, including audience building, wishlist generation, public relations, communication, and launch strategies. In this way, we continued positioning Fragments among strategic stakeholders in the industry while strengthening the relationships needed to support its development and eventual entry into the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Opportunities for Our Web and Mobile Portfolio<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our agenda also focused on identifying new publishing and distribution opportunities for JU Studios\u2019 web and mobile game portfolio. During the event, we explored platforms, distribution models, and trends related to games played directly through web browsers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This segment represents an opportunity to expand the reach of our intellectual properties and develop products specifically designed around the characteristics of these channels. Exploring different platforms is part of our strategy to diversify our portfolio, expand our capabilities, and connect our games with audiences across different markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relationships That Go Beyond Exhibition Spaces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our gamescom agenda extended beyond the meetings held inside the exhibition halls. We also participated in business gatherings, networking activities, and events organized by international companies, studios, and communities, where we discussed production, publishing, marketing, metrics, distribution, and collaboration opportunities between companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These opportunities complemented our participation in the event and allowed us to strengthen JU Studios\u2019 professional network, stay connected with the evolution of the industry, and showcase our capabilities to new players in the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colombia at gamescom<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During gamescom, we connected with Colombian entrepreneurs, developers, and industry professionals working to strengthen the country\u2019s presence in the international video game industry. This exchange allowed us to share experiences, exchange perspectives on the market, and identify opportunities for collaboration within Colombia\u2019s national game development ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting with other Colombian representatives reaffirmed the growth of Colombia\u2019s video game industry and its ability to develop projects with international potential. Internationalization also means sharing knowledge, building networks, and contributing to the strengthening of the ecosystem we are part of. For this reason, these spaces represent an opportunity not only to advance our own projects, but also to increase the visibility of Colombian talent on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An International Strategy That Continues to Grow<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our participation in gamescom 2026 represented another step forward in the internationalization process we have been building through our own projects, specialized programs, international markets, and relationships with stakeholders across different areas of the industry. Our experience in Cologne allowed us to strengthen how we present our games, deepen our understanding of the market, and establish valuable connections to support JU Studios\u2019 international growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also reinforced the importance of maintaining an active presence in spaces where trends are shared, partnerships are built, and new opportunities emerge for the industry. We will continue to follow up on the relationships established during the event and incorporate the insights gained into our development and growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Colombia, we will continue creating games with a distinctive identity, strengthening our capabilities, and bringing JU Studios\u2019 work to new international markets.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
