Ju Studios at Gamescom Latam 2026

Ju Studios Strengthens Its International Presence from São Paulo
We continue advancing in our process of internationalization and consolidation within the global video game industry. Thanks to the support of First Flame, our incubator, and its program, we were able to participate in Gamescom Latam 2026, held in São Paulo, Brazil, one of the most important spaces for growth, networking, and visibility of the video game industry in Latin America.
Our participation had a clear objective: to open new business opportunities, present our projects to international stakeholders, gain closer insight into the Brazilian market, and strengthen strategic relationships with publishers, platforms, organizations, investors, media, and partners within the regional ecosystem.
Brazil represents a particularly important market for Ju Studios. Some of our products are already showing significant demand in this territory, so being present at Gamescom Latam allowed us to better understand its dynamics, distribution opportunities, and potential growth paths. This experience confirmed that the Brazilian market is not only one of the most relevant in the region but also a key meeting point for connecting Latin America with the global industry.
A Key Event for the Latin American Industry
Gamescom Latam 2026 highlighted the moment of maturity that the video game industry is experiencing in the region. Beyond being a trade show, the event established itself as a platform for business, international networking, and creating opportunities for studios, publishers, investors, technology platforms, specialized media, and supporting organizations.
For Ju Studios, participating in this environment meant taking an active role in an increasingly strong regional conversation: Latin America is no longer seen solely as a consumer market, but also as a territory capable of creating intellectual property, developing competitive talent, and building projects with global potential.
Strategic Meetings and New Opportunities
During our participation, we held various meetings and conversations with key industry stakeholders. Among the most notable encounters were networking sessions with Gixer Entertainment, DDM, Poki, and Dare Drop, among other actors in the international ecosystem. These meetings were made possible thanks to the support and strategic guidance of First Flame, which facilitated our participation and strengthened our presence during the event.
These opportunities allowed us to showcase the work of Ju Studios, share our vision as a Colombian studio, strengthen business relationships, and open new possibilities for collaboration, publishing, validation, marketing, and international growth.
Connections That Strengthen Our Path
In addition to the most relevant business meetings, Gamescom Latam allowed us to establish valuable contacts with organizations, companies, and key representatives of the ecosystem.
We held conversations with individuals connected to IGDA, an organization that works to strengthen opportunities for developers globally, as well as with Latinx in Gaming, an initiative focused on raising visibility and supporting Latin American developers within the international industry.
We were also able to connect with Be Games, an organization that has been working to increase the visibility of the video game ecosystem in Colombia and Latin America. Their perspective on the region’s industry growth aligns with our experience at the event: there are increasingly more opportunities for Latin American studios to present themselves to the world not as isolated cases, but as part of a creative ecosystem with technical capacity, business vision, and culturally relevant projects.
Similarly, we spoke with Xsolla about tools, benefits, and opportunities for developers, and established contact with Nicolás Piccato from the French Embassy in Rio de Janeiro, recommended by Proimágenes. This meeting was important to present the work of Ju Studios, share our trajectory, and build a strategic relationship with a key player in the French cultural and creative ecosystem, especially considering future opportunities for circulation, collaboration, and participation in international programs.
We also engaged with Colombian companies, Latin American studios, and representatives from various industry sectors, discussing potential opportunities for work, collaboration, and joint growth. These spaces are particularly valuable as they allow for a better understanding of the current state of the industry from multiple perspectives: development, publishing, investment, distribution, marketing, community, and regional network building.
Goals Achieved and New Paths for Growth
Our participation in Gamescom Latam 2026 fulfilled the objectives we set as a studio. We went to Brazil seeking new opportunities, business connections, and a deeper understanding of the regional market, and returned with strategic contacts, strengthened relationships, and a clearer vision of the next steps for our projects.
The value of this participation lies in the doors that open, the conversations that continue, and the connections that can turn into partnerships, publishing, funding, distribution, visibility, or business growth. First Flame was key in this process, providing us with strategic support that facilitated every step of our participation and allowed us to maximize the opportunities generated.
For Ju Studios, events like these are essential because they allow us to test our ideas with international stakeholders, validate the potential of our projects, better understand market requirements, and strengthen our presence as a Colombian studio with a global vision.
Latin America as a Stage for Expansion
Gamescom Latam 2026 sent a clear signal: the Latin American industry is growing, connecting, and gaining international relevance. Brazil, due to its scale and convening power, stands out as a strategic point for this expansion, but the value of the event goes beyond the Brazilian market. Its greatest strength lies in connecting countries, studios, organizations, and companies that previously operated in a more fragmented manner.
For Ju Studios, being part of this conversation is a natural step within our growth vision. We are a Colombian studio that has built its path through technical development, creativity, work-for-hire production, and the creation of our own intellectual property. Today, we continue moving into new markets with projects that combine identity, innovation, technical quality, and commercial potential.
Our participation in Gamescom Latam 2026 reaffirms this direction. We continue building international relationships, exploring publishing and funding opportunities, strengthening our presence in strategic markets, and demonstrating that it is possible to create competitive video games for global audiences from Colombia.
