Ju Studios Strengthens Fragments Through Gente Convergente’s Video Game Accelerator

Ju Studios was selected to participate in the Gente Convergente and BC Media Lab video game accelerator with Fragments.
At Ju Studios, we are proud to celebrate the selection of Fragments as one of the projects chosen for the Video Game Accelerator – Intellectual Property Development in Colombia,an initiative by Gente Convergente developed in partnership with the Mexican company BC Media Lab.
The program selected eight Bogotá-based video game studios and production companies to participate in an intensive process of training, personalized mentorship, and pitch preparation for investors and publishers. This initiative supports Gente Convergente’s goal of strengthening the digital creative ecosystem, professionalizing local studios, and connecting their projects with national and international opportunities.
More Than Three Months Strengthening Fragments

For more than three months, we worked on key strategic areas to improve both the development of Fragments and the internal structure of the team responsible for producing it.
The mentoring sessions focused on creating a strong pitch for investors and publishers, defining target audiences, refining the game’s design, developing a marketing strategy, organizing the team, and building a business model with greater growth potential.
The process included guidance from professionals such as Marco Polo Moraga, Hugo Castro, Yoshitomo Moriwaki, Ovidio Escobedo, Richard Bisso and Jay PowellThey shared their expertise in public relations, investment, creative strategy, level design, team management, and publisher negotiations.
A Clearer Project, Ready to Grow
One of the main achievements of the accelerator was transforming the creative vision behind Fragments into a clearer and more compelling proposal for the video game industry. The team strengthened how it communicates the project, organizes responsibilities, and makes decisions related to production, design, and commercialization.
This guidance also helped us identify strengths, needs, and opportunities that will be essential during the next stages of development.
The experience aligns with Gente Convergente’s mission to combine training, institutional support, and visibility opportunities to promote projects with strong concepts, technical feasibility, and execution capacity.
Building the Future of Fragments
Taking part in this accelerator represents recognition of the work carried out by Ju Studios and an important step in preparing Fragments for future conversations with publishers, investors, and strategic partners.
We would like to thank Gente Convergente, Proimágenes Colombia, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and BC Media Lab for their support and for the tools provided throughout this process.
This mentorship process was instrumental in helping Fragments secure recognition in the Crea Digital 2026call for proposals, as it provided the opportunity to refine and develop the project's pitch, strengthening its value proposition, presentation strategy, and ability to communicate its potential clearly and convincingly.
We remain committed to turning Fragments into an experience with a distinctive identity, strong commercial potential, and the ability to reach players in Colombia and around the world.
