Ju Studios connects video games, well-being, and creativity in Bogotá

During the first days of September, we participated in two events that allowed us to present video games from different perspectives: Bogotá Wellness Week: Culture and Health for Better Living and CRAD ART FEST 2026. Both experiences connected our work with topics such as memory, emotions, art, technology, and the strengthening of the creative community.
Fragments and New Conversations on Well-Being

During Bogotá Wellness Week, we presented Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree as part of the session “Colombian Video Games: New Perspectives on Well-Being”, held at Centro Felicidad Chapinero. This participation allowed us to explore one of the project’s central themes: the relationship between memory, emotions, and the construction of identity.
In Fragments, players reconstruct the identity and story of Juan, a Colombian carpenter facing the final moments of his life. Through places, objects, sounds, and people, they explore incomplete and emotionally distorted memories to build their own interpretation of what happened.
Themes such as loss, family, guilt, fear, nostalgia, and human relationships are part of the experience. For this reason, the event provided a fitting space to discuss the potential of video games to explore complex human experiences through narrative, interaction, and artistic expression.
With Fragments, we do not seek to offer definitive answers, but rather to create an experience that invites players to observe, interpret, and reflect on the memories and emotions that shape the way we understand our own story. Taking part in this conversation reaffirmed our interest in developing video games that, beyond delivering a solid experience, can also raise meaningful questions and create genuine connections with their players.

We valued the opportunity to take part in spaces like these, where the mental health becomes the focus of the conversation. and where we can also explore how video games and new technologies can contribute to a deeper understanding of mental health through interactive, narrative, and emotional experiences.
For us, being part of this event was especially valuable, as it highlighted how mental health can be approached through different disciplines and forms of expression. In the case of video games, we see an opportunity to create experiences that encourage reflection, empathy, and the exploration of themes related to memory, emotions, and identity.
We want to continue participating in initiatives like these and keep incorporating these themes into our projects. Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree is an example of that interest, offering a narrative and psychological experience that explores how memories and emotions influence the way we understand our own story.
Two Days with the Creative Community at CRAD ART FEST

We also participated in CRAD ART FEST 2026 over two days, held at LCI Bogotá from September 4 to 6. The event brought together professionals, artists, developers, students, and studios working across video games, animation, visual effects, and digital art.
This space encouraged the exchange of experiences and perspectives across areas such as concept art, animation, programming, 3D, VFX, and game design. For Ju Studios, maintaining an active dialogue with other professionals and creative teams is essential for comparing processes, identifying trends, and strengthening our approach to production.
During CRAD ART FEST, we also presented Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree to LCI Bogotá students, professionals from the education sector, and members of the video game industry. Several attendees had the opportunity to play a version of the project and share their impressions of the experience. The response was positive, and the feedback we received provided new perspectives to continue strengthening the game.
The event also allowed us to connect with StudioBando, Team Vultures, Dreams Uncorporated, Pineal Games, and Piranha Studio de Animación, as well as other professionals and teams within the video game, animation, and digital content ecosystem. These encounters expanded our professional network and opened new conversations around creation, production, and collaboration within the creative industries.
Two Experiences That Strengthen Our Vision
Although the two events had different focuses, both connected directly with the way we approach video game development. Bogotá Wellness Week allowed us to present Fragments through its relationship with memory, emotions, and human experiences, while CRAD ART FEST strengthened our connection with the community of artists, developers, and professionals who contribute to the growth of the creative industry.
At Ju Studios, we integrate art, technology, and narrative to develop video games that not only build worlds and mechanics, but also evoke emotions, raise questions, and spark conversations. Participating in these spaces allows us to share that vision, bring our projects closer to new audiences, and continue contributing to the growth of Colombia’s creative ecosystem.
We would like to extend our special thanks to BeGamers for the invitation and for giving us the opportunity to take part in both events. Bogotá Wellness Week and CRAD ART FEST 2026 provided valuable spaces to present Fragments: Under the Walnut Tree, exchange perspectives, and connect with people interested in the intersection of creativity, technology, well-being, and the video game industry.
We will continue participating in initiatives that showcase talent, strengthen the ecosystem, and create new opportunities for connection and collaboration around video games developed in Colombia.
