Ju Studios at BETA FEST SOFA 2024: Presenting Juzzle Puzzle

From October 10 to 14, we had the honor of being selected to participate in BETA FEST, the space dedicated to the video game industry in Colombia within the Salon del Ocio y la Fantasia (SOFA 2024). This event, organized by Tan Grande y Jugando with the support of UNITY, brought together 25 outstanding independent studios from the country, and we are proud to have been part of this incredible experience with our latest project: Juzzle Puzzle.

Juzzle Puzzle: Strategy and minimalist design

Juzzle Puzzle is our most recent project, a puzzle game that combines minimalist design with strategy. Inspired by Conway’s Game of Life and chess, we create an experience that challenges players to think through every move carefully.

With soft colors and rounded edges, we aim to offer an experience that invites calm while challenging the mind. Its intuitive design allows players to slide blocks in any direction with a simple finger movement, making the gameplay fluid and tactile. Some standout features include:

• Unlockable tracks: Use points to overcome more complex challenges.
• Daily challenges: Compete with other players in unique challenges every day.
• Level design: Crea tus propios puzles y comparte tu creatividad.

Juzzle Puzzle represents our vision of combining simplicity and complexity in a game that is accessible yet challenging for audiences of all ages.

Our experience at SOFA 2024

During the five days of the event, more than 10,000 people tried Juzzle Puzzle. It was exciting to see the audience's reaction and receive such positive comments from both attendees and industry professionals. Many highlighted the attractive design and innovative mechanics, which reaffirms our passion for creating memorable experiences.

This event not only allowed us to showcase our work, but also to connect with other developers, explore future collaborations and strengthen our presence as a growing independent studio.
